Our history
Family business founded by Yves BAUDOUIN, the BAUDOUIN group set up in 1957 in Niort.
The company becomes BAUDOUIN MORTIER & Cie and moved to the current site in 1974.
In 1995, Bernard MORTIER, asserting his pension rights, sold his shares to the BAUDOUIN and VALLENTIN families.
Denis BAUDOUIN then took over the General Management of the company.
Five years later, it is Jean-Michel VALLENTIN's turn to sell his stake.
The company then becomes the full and entire property of the BAUDOUIN family and changes its corporate name to be called BAUDOUIN et fils...
In 2001, it joined ASTRE, the first European grouping of independent carriers in Europe.
In the early 2000s, the BAUDOUIN company developed with the creation by Denis BAUDOUIN of the company VIAFROID in Sainte-Eanne and the takeover of Transports LEBLAY in MANS (72).
In 2008, it bought the company TRANSPLUS in St Herblain (44), today BAUDOUIN 44 in Les Sorinières.
In 2018, the group inaugurates its very new transit platform of 4000 m2 and 30 dock doors.
